It’s been a few years but in 2021 we will finally revisit this godsend of a state with two fantastic tours. “Californileinnen”, a semi-private tour with emphasis on FINLAND and “Probike PCH Sierra Slam”, a collaboration with both Probike Stockholm Syd and Probike Gothenburg. Heavy!
“What about me?” you wonder. “Can I come along?” Answer: yes.

The route I set up takes us through some of the most beautiful areas in the entire United States. Amazing. Every day, revelation after revelation.

Day 1. To San Francisco. Tired riders chill at the hotel.

Day 2. Early start. Pick up the bikes and head north over the Golden Gate Bridge into Wine Country to Guerneville, a cool little artistic village. Far out!

Day 3. Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) North through endless, mighty beauty, all day long, towards Fort Bragg.

Day 4. We continue north on PCH. More of the same. Magnificent. Incredibly beautiful. We drive parallel to the coast on “Avenue of the Giants” A straight-up “religious experience” in the middle of an immense prehistoric Redwood forest, destination Eureka, cool coast village with a good Italian restaurant and English pub.

Day 5. East. Up towards the sky. Into the Sierra Nevada mountains we ride. Dreamy mountain roads and powerful views all day long. You have to pinch yourself sometimes. Destination. Redding.

Day 6. We continue east through the Sierra Nevada, up and over to Reno Nevada, “Little ‘Las Vegas”. Party-hat time?

Day 7. Early start as we head south down to amazing Lake Tahoe in the mountains. We continue along the east side of Tahoe and turn west on another amazing Scenic Byway, Trinity, which takes us back to Jamestown, a real cowboy village in The Foothills.

Day 8. To San Francisco. We cross California back to the coast. Maybe a stop at the motorcycle-historic Johnny’s Bar in Hollister? Once in San Francisco, we return the bikes and become pedestrians, but, man, what a great place to be a pedestrian!

Day 9. Off-day in San Francisco. Lots to see, lots to do. One word. STEEP! “My time” day for everyone. AMAZING Chinese dinner promised for this evening!

Day 10. Fly home

Day 11. Land

Approximate total cost 3700EUR rider / 2400EUR passenger*
